Let the Good Times Partially Roll

Fairy tales delude us.  They make life seem seamlessly easy.  It isn't.  I'm not sure if the difficulty of life is what makes it interesting; or what makes us stronger, or what connects us.  Maybe we just look for a reason to say it's there, so we don't have to wake up every morning facing difficulty for no purpose except for because it exists.  Because we have to deal with it.  Because if it didn't exist we wouldn't know what good times were.
